Inside Sales Representative

A new and exciting opportunity awaits you in our European headquarters.  An Inside Sales Representative is needed to actively prospect and develop accounts in key areas of Europe. In addition to making cold and warm calls, you will research organizations and work with outside business developers to generate demand in your territory. You must enjoy talking to people, be a good listener, and be professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting, cold-calling, developing customer relationships, and identifying business that results in meeting quota
  • Pre-qualifying or converting pre-qualified sales leads into a prospective pipeline and confirmed opportunities for the sales team
  • Targeting companies that fit our profile and uncovering information that helps us to build relationships
  • Quickly identifying and enlisting additional resources required to win the business
  • Maintaining consistent activity levels to build the pipeline of appropriate opportunities needed to meet revenue goals
  • Clearly communicating and understanding a customer’s business needs to help identify the proper course of action
  • Work closely with outside business development  team to support field sales activities
  • Assemble lead sources (lists, databases, websites, print media, etc.)
  • Enhance and maintain the lead database
  • Add to lead database with secondary research (web, phone interviews, referrals)

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills, with database experience a plus
  • Prefer understanding of and experience in the clinical trial space
  • Superb communication skills (speaking, writing and listening)
  • Developed relationship skills, including likability
  • Ability to demonstrate and present company capabilities and clinical trial software
