Boutique Clinical Data Organization Announces Positive End-Of-Year Results

Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., July  7, 2009—Datatrial, a boutique clinical data organization specializing in innovative approaches to study design, today announced their full year results from the financial period June 2008 to May 2009.

The company enjoyed 50-percent growth in revenue year-over-year and also experienced a full year of profitability. Highlighted by 110-percent growth in US revenue and a 27-percent increase in personnel, Datatrial was able to expand its global coverage and further build upon its strong foundation of excellent customer service. As proof that the organization’s emphasis on stress free study delivery and sustainable growth is working, the organization also had a 77-percent growth in contract backlog and remains debt-free on its balance sheet.

“This was the strongest fiscal year in our history, which can be attributed to the successful study delivery conducted by our global team,” said chief executive officer Adam Black. “We fully embrace the notion that every client’s trial is unique, and we feel these results confirm the value of our service-oriented model and innovative approach to study design. Although the economy remains challenging for the foreseeable future, we are confident we can continue to grow our footprint among emerging and mid-tier life science companies.”
